Arsenal got a 4-0 emphatic victory in Brighton, leaving them three points clear at the top of the Women's Superleague.
Danielle van de Donk and Jill Roord put the league leaders under firm control in the first half, with Jordan Nobbs and Beth Mead closing in on a good win to beat Manchester City after their victory over Everton on Saturday.
Arsenal only needed four minutes to take the lead. Van de Donk was struck to the left by Leah Williamson's ball before entering the area, overtaking the defender and past goalkeeper Megan Walsh with his left foot.
The second goal came on 31 minutes and again it was Williamson with the assist, who sent the ball from the left wing to Roord. The Dutch midfielder was unmarked at the edge of the area and tapped before choosing the bottom corner.
Nobbs made it 3-0 after 51 minutes after crossing Van de Donk's cross, assisted by a Vivianne Miedema mannequin, tapping and kicking hard and hard for Walsh.
Substitute Mead put the seal in victory in the 89th minute, reaching Arsenal's fourth goal after Walsh fumbled the ball in the path of Kim Little, who returned it to Mead to fend off.
