We expect Apple to update the iPad Pro sometime next year, and the recently leaked renderings give us an idea of what to expect when the updated plates finally break coverage. The images provided by the generally trusted @OnLeaks and iGeeksBlog do not show the device itself, but how the iPad Pro 2020 may look based on the rumors and speculation we have heard so far.
What you'll notice right away is that the triple-lens rear camera is in the corner on the back of the Apple tablet – this specification and design matches the configuration of the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
It wouldn't be the first time and it's unlikely to be the last time Apple lends its iPhones to enhance its iPad range, so we can expect next year's premium iPads to come with a camera upgrade.
Rumors of camera optics improvements for the next iPad update have been around for a while, and it appears that this is one of the few areas where Apple plates can actually get a substantial update.
The usual enhancements to internal components and perhaps screen adjustments have also been anticipated, although the overall look of the iPad Pro is expected to be much the same as the 2018 models.
Last year, Apple upgraded its entry-level iPad, the iPad Mini, and the iPad Air, which means the iPad Pro model is the weirdest – something Apple will look to fix throughout 2020.
The dimensions of the iPad Pro 2020's two plates are expected to match 2018, so the screen sizes will again be 11 inches and 12.9 inches as before.
