CD Projekt Red has finally announced the release date of the iOS version of Gwent.
Through a tweet, the company revealed that Gwent will reach Apple devices on October 29 this year. Initially announced in March 2019, the mobile version of the game "combines all the functionality of the PC version with reimagined controls for touch interfaces," according to a statement by the Polish producer. CDPR further stated that Gwent will be compatible with embedded 4K textures, but only "on the most powerful iOS devices."

The statement also confirmed that in-game purchases and progress will be shared between iOS and GOG PC saves, but stressed that progress and purchases on PS4 / Xbox One will not be shared.
It is not yet known when we can expect to see Gwent on other mobile platforms such as Android, but the iOS version will run on any newer iPhone than iPhone 6S (inclusive), iPad Mini 4 or higher, on all iPads from the fifth generation, on the Air 2 series and all iPad Pro.
