The German company SAP, best known for its ERP solutions, has just announced the promotion of Cristina Palmaka (until then president of the operation in Brazil) to the post of president for Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC).
Acting as president of the Brazilian division since 2013, Palmaka will assume the new role from August 1, and will accumulate the roles of president Brazil and LAC until the company announces a replacement to occupy the previous position.
“It is a great honor to assume the role of President of SAP LAC and join a team of 5,000 employees in Latin America and the Caribbean. I hope to be able to support our 48,500 clients in the region, providing an excellent experience, regardless of the circumstances “, says Cristina Palmaka.
Claudio Muruzabal, who until now held the position of president of Latin America and the Caribbean, will assume the command of the SAP division responsible for the southern part of the EMEA region (Europe, Middle East and Asia) and will also remain as chairman of the LAC region.
