Travel the world of seventh art
The documentary film festival Porto / Post / Doc returns with an eclectic program that will unfold through the Porto Municipal Theater, the Passos Manuel Cinema and the Porto Planetarium, having for the first time an extension to Braga. Directed by Dário Oliveira, the festival intends to launch a reflection on the central issues in the debate of contemporary cinema, going through contemporary or classic works such as Andrei Tarkovsky, Paulo Rocha, Jonas Mekas, Ute Aurand (which will be the object of one of this tribute). Porto / Post / Doc). Between the city and the world, fiction and documentary, the festival is divided into various programs and competitions, including: International Competition, New Cinema Competition or Highlights, dedicated to honoring some of the greatest figures in the history of cinema. . The festival's official selection includes films by leading filmmakers on the independent film scene such as Bem Rivers, Kim Longinotto or Bruno Aleixo. In the Transmission program, the link between music and cinema will be reinforced, showing films that can be heard, between biopics and concerts. The section devoted to the screening of films spoken in Portuguese was not neglected, but there was another section dedicated to our Spanish neighbors. With a little for all tastes, Porto / Post / Doc intends to retake the original force of cinema, highlighting the documentary and the "(im) possibility of filming the other".

Revisite Pedro Cabrita Reis in Serralves
After two decades of the exhibition held in 1999, the artist returns to Serralves, Porto, with an exhibition-installation that opened on Wednesday, 20th. A well-known author of national contemporary art intends to reveal an appetite for formal and conceptual experimentation, however. developed over the last 20 years. The Roving Gaze (An Uneasy Look) is an exhibition designed specifically for Serralves museum spaces and announces itself as a unique work "Large-scale and strong autobiographical bent" that spans several rooms without chronological order. Several structures designed by the artist, who now takes on a new identity (Cabrita only), support his own photographs taken since 1999 and worked together with objects, drawings and documents, creating a "total installation environment where the life and the work ".

Take a musical tour of Avenida da Liberdade
On November 22 and 23, Avenida da Liberdade will host another edition of Super Bock in Stock. This concept first appeared 11 years ago with the name Mexefest, at the time an innovative concept of concurrent concerts taking place in various places around the avenue. This edition features a total of 57 concerts that will take place in nine theaters: Hotel Maxime, Casa do Alentejo, São Jorge Cinema, Capitol Cinema, Rossio Station, EPAL Garage, Independence Palace, Tivoli Theater and finally the Coliseum dos Recreios. The names on the poster include Michael Kiwanuka, Curtis Harding or Slow J, but also Viagra Boys, Luis Severo, Marissa Nadler or Orville Peck. An application will be provided to provide real-time information about concert times and live room capacity. The hard part will be choosing.

Baptize a beer
The new craft beer, called Severa, is the result of the partnership between Jameson Caskmates and Musa beer, which combines whiskey and beer. Crafted by Musa brewers, it is an aged imperial stout barrel that spent seven months in Jameson barrels, with notes of wood, cracker, spicy, caramel and almonds and an alcohol content of 11.7%. This new beer is the culmination of the project "Casório" which, curated by Quim Albergaria, which invites two artists of different musical styles to unite talents and perform together in an unlikely record. The inspiration for this project came from the Caskmates & Musa ritual: Portuguese version of "shot and a beer", the American habit of drinking a shot of whiskey followed by a glass of beer. In seven months "Casório" has organized 8 events that put on stage Carlão and Tó Trips, Rui Reininho and Duquesa, among others. This partnership will be celebrated next week, on November 29, with the "Baptism" of Severa, with very special guests from Da Chick to Papillon and Black Ear.
