Revisit Keith Haring Between Shopping

After 15 years, Keith Haring's work returns to Portugal for a unique solo exhibition featuring 17 original works by one of the most iconic figures in New York's art scene during the 1980s and 1990s. The "Keith Haring. Art Exhibition" , activism and fashion "that evokes realities such as AIDS, drug addiction, violence and apartheid, will be present at CascaiShopping, with free admission. The idea is to transport visitors to New York City in the mid-1980s under the unique eye of the artist and activist as they enjoy some of his most iconic works, providing an open dialogue between art, activism and fashion. Like some of his contemporaries, such as Jean-Michel Basquiat, Haring introduced elements of the so-called low-art and non-artistic elements into museums and galleries. In addition to the artwork, creations of designers inspired by her work will be on display, as well as a replica of the iconic coat worn by Madonna at Haring's birthday party in 1984, with fashion as one of the themes of the exhibition. He also collaborated with names such as Grace Jones and Vivienne Westwood, and his legacy was passed on by brands such as Coach and Lacoste. Just as the artist would want, his art will also be on the streets, namely the Cascais station and outside one of the train carriages between Cascais and Lisbon, prepared by the artist Akacorleone.

What? Keith Haring Exhibition When? From September 10th to November 10th, every day from 08:30 to 24:00 Where? 1st floor, in the square in front of Zara CascaiShopping Shopping Center.
